Our peer tutors can help you better understand course concepts, brainstorm and organize ideas, review writing assignments, strengthen grammar and mechanics, and develop effective study strategies.

You can sign up for a 1-on-1 tutoring session or join a group session with other students taking the same or similar courses.

- What can the peer tutor help me with?
Your tutor can help you with reading comprehension, grammar, writing, organization, research, citations, and developing and revising essays and other assignments.
- Can I bring questions from class?
Absolutely! Bring any questions from class, assignments, readings, or writing projects that you would like to review with your tutor.
- Can tutoring help me prepare for an exam?
Absolutely! Your tutor can help you review key concepts, practice reading and writing skills, and prepare for upcoming English exams.
- Can the tutor complete my assignments for me?
No. Your tutor will guide you through your assignments, explain concepts, and help you develop your own answers, but they will not complete the work for you.
- Can I attend a group session?
Yes! You can sign up for a group English tutoring session when available and work alongside other students with similar coursework.
- What should I bring?
Bring your textbook, class notes, assignments, readings, drafts, and any questions you would like to review with your tutor.
- What happens if my tutor is unavailable?
If your peer tutor is unavailable for your scheduled session, the session may be canceled or rescheduled. You will be notified of any changes to your appointment.
