Your peer tutor can help you strengthen writing and grammar skills, develop and organize ideas, review essays and assignments, improve reading comprehension, and develop strategies for approaching English assignments and exams.

Your tutor can help you with writing, grammar, reading comprehension, essay organization, research, citations, and understanding English course assignments.
- Will the tutor give me the answers?
Your tutor won’t simply give you the answers. They will guide you through the process, explain concepts, and help you develop your own ideas and answers.
- Can I bring homework or practice problems?
Absolutely! Bring your homework, writing assignments, drafts, readings, class notes, and any questions you would like to review with your tutor.
- Can I prepare for a test with my tutor?
Absolutely! Your tutor can help you review key concepts, practice reading and writing skills, and prepare for upcoming English tests.
- Can I attend with classmates?
Yes! You can attend a group tutoring session with classmates when available and work together on English concepts, assignments, and writing skills.
- What should I bring?
Bring your textbook, class notes, assignments, readings, writing drafts, and any questions you would like to review with your tutor.
- What happens if my tutor is unavailable?
If your English peer tutor is unavailable for your scheduled session, the session may be canceled or rescheduled. You will be notified of any changes to your appointment.
